A 74-member film crew from the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu will be flying to Muscat for the filming of a romantic thriller titled Thalaiva, starring Vijay and Amala Paul, in the first week of March, the line producer of the movie said. "Being directed by A.L. Vijay, the movie will be shot over 36 days at various locations in the Sultanate.

Two songs and a fight scene will be filmed," Renny Johnson, the line producer and executive manager at Mezoon Travels, told Times of Oman. "The songs will be shot in one of the auditoriums in Muscat and in some of the hotels.
